Block Party

There was a block party on 5th street where the girls' friend Lizzie lives. So, she invited them to come and they had a blast! When we got there, they were just getting ready for a water balloon fight.

Then, they did the dunk chair. Morgan loved this thing and sat in the chair multiple times!

After this, Morgan ran home and put on some dry clothes. Once she got back, they did pinatas. They broke the kids up into three groups so the little kids wouldn't get trampled by the big kids! They lined up by height and Morgan was the tallest!

They finally got the candy to fall out!

Then, of course, the best part... trading candy!

We went to the pool for a bit after the block party too cool off - it was so hot! Morgan went back to the block party after dinner for fireworks and Ghosts in the Graveyard.

Block Party

A friend of the girls' from school, Lizzie, lives a few streets down from us. Her block was hosting a block party and they invited us to come down.

The fire department made a stop for the kids to check out the truck. Morgan loves this stuff!

Avery and Lizzie in the car. The kids thought it was so neat that they could ride their bikes all over the streets without worrying about cars coming!

There was even a chili cook-off! We didn't enter since we're not technically from that block, but the chilis were all delicious!

Lizzie's Dad has an old school cotton candy machine. He let the kids each make their own cotton candy!
