I woke up to a post on Facebook from the teachers at the girls school. They had put together a video of them all dancing to "Walking on Sunshine". They added a sweet message at the end, too. Of course, I lost it when I watched it. I cried because it was super sweet. I cried because I hate that this is the life the girls are dealing with now. I cried because I don't know when life will be back to normal for them. Ugh. So much uncertainty.
The girls absolutely loved the video and watched it multiple times.
Today for e-learning, we had our first Zoom meetings for the girls' classes.
Avery's class met first and it went pretty well. The kids were excited to see all of their friends on the screen. Avery's teacher read a book to them and then had them each say something they've been up to. Avery was really excited to talk. :)

Morgan's class met second and it was kind of chaos. I had a hard time hearing her teacher. Morgan was really nervous about speaking and didn't want to respond when the teacher said "hi". Her friend Gwen kept saying "hi" to her and she finally responded. Her face was a gigantic smile the whole time, though. :)
Such different kids. And such different teachers. I've said it before and I'll say it again now, the girls each got the perfect teacher for them. Avery's teacher is stricter and more focused on the schoolwork, which is great since Avery is very studious and loves learning. Morgan's teacher is laid back and deals well with Morgan's lack of excitement for sitting still and being quiet at school. She finds a way to get Morgan to learn, even though she doesn't really want to. Ha!
