Happy Birthday Papa!

My parents came up to DG to celebrate his birthday with all of us. It was an Among Us themed party! Aunt Sandi made all the kiddos and Papa Among Us shirts. They were a big hit! The kids played Among Us IRL with tasks around our house. So much fun!

Avery thought it would be so funny to get Papa a jar of peanut butter! See her face on the right of the picture! She said it's funny, but also a good gift because he loves peanut butter. :)

Morgan's shirt says "Pink vented" and Avery's shirt says "Wasn't me". :)

Even the kiddos got gifts... Valentine's gifts!

Aunt Erin did Avery's hair in a fishtail braid.

And this is how you protect the cake during COVID times! The kids were warned not to blow out the candles, but Papa was quick with the cover for those that didn't follow the rules. :)

And as a special treat for Papa's birthday, he was able to finally secure an appointment for a vaccine! (and my mom, too!) Yay!

Happy Birthday Papa!

We celebrated Papa's birthday this past weekend at my brother's house. The kids had fun playing with their cousins. Sandi and Brett made a mac-n-cheese bar with all kinds of good fixings! Aunt Erin brought the girls some Valentine's Day gifts.

Happy Birthday Papa!

We celebrated my Dad's birthday this weekend with a little party at Erin's house. :)

I found a t-shirt that I thought would be fun for the kids to do for Grandpa. I figured it would be fun for my Dad to watch them do it. I also assumed the kids would enjoy it. The girls loved it, but the rest of the kiddos acted like we were putting acid on their hands! Ha! :)

Avery was very serious!

Morgan loved it!

Just like painting at home

Poor Nolan - he just didn't understand

It wasn't easy getting a handprint out of a 4 month old!

Papa's visit

Grandpa came for a visit this past weekend because we needed a babysitter on Monday night.

We all went to see Frozen on Ice on Sunday. Avery did really well and watched most of the show. Morgan watched the show a bit, but wanted to snack and run around and play with the light wands and spinner toys Aunt Erin bought the kiddos. That girl does not sit still!

On Monday night, Matt and I met up with his college roommate who was in town from Alabama for a conference. Lawrence's wife, his business partner and his wife were in town as well. So, we all went out for dinner at Chicago Cut and then caught a show at Second City. Lots of fun, but a late night for a Monday. :)

While we were out, the girls got to play with Grandpa. Erin and Grayson stopped over for a bit as well. The kids love playing with those toys from the Frozen show!

Just call him the baby whisperer

The kiddos were SO wound up after the pumpkin patch that they just would not settle down for naps. So we sent in the baby whisperer - Papa! He got Grayson and Morgan (and himself) to take naps!

Grandpa

We got a quick visit from Grandpa and Grandma this past Sunday. When Grandpa pulled up the driveway, I said to Morgan "Where's Grandpa?" She immediately ran to grab the book of pictures to find his picture (see post from the other day). So cute! She was super excited to see him in person! She loves playing with his hat, glasses and mustache!
