The girls had school pictures on the first day of school. They use these for their school IDs, too. Can't believe how much older they are looking these days - yikes!

So, we got the school pictures back... they had her pictures taken first right as they got to school, so that was nice. I can't believe how old they are looking!

We got back the pictures from school and they turned out pretty good. I can't get over how much older the girls look. I mean, I see them every day... but for some reason looking at school pictures makes you realize how much they are growing up!

1st Grade School Pictures

School pictures came home the other day. I noticed Avery was bright red in her picture and Morgan looked like she just ran a marathon or something. I asked the girls about it and Avery said they had their pictures taken right after they came in from recess. Hmmm, that explains it!

Kindergarten School Pictures

We got the school pictures back today. Oh my, I just can't even deal with how old they look in these pictures. Especially since we were just looking through their pre-k graduation books with Ruth with all their pictures from the past 3+ years at daycare. My first impression of Morgan's picture was that she looked way older than kindergarten! And honestly, I can't believe that Avery has a bigger smile than Morgan. But, I just love the pictures! I love this age and seeing the girls grow and learn so much already in kindergarten. :)

Pre-K School Pictures

The girls recently had pictures taken at school. The company that does the pictures always has some sort of cute outfit for the kiddos. This time, they had super heroes and baseball. The girls got to choose between Cubs and White Sox. I had actually forgotten it was picture day, so I'm glad the photographer had them wearing hats and the headband. Their hair was probably a mess!

Merry Christmas!

The girls had pictures taken at school a few weeks before Christmas. Considering that morning we had a double meltdown at school drop-off, I think they turned out pretty well. Ha!

The girls' school has a photographer come in and take pictures of the kiddos in cute costumes, etc. once in a while. I love seeing what they come up with... looks like a Western theme for this session! :)

And the woman was able to do a little photoshop on Morgan's majorly scraped up nose. Of course, I wish I would have taken the tattoos off her arm, but oh well!

The girls got pictures taken at school a while back and we got the pictures in right before Christmas. I think this is probably the best picture they've taken together! I love it!

School Pictures

The girls had pictures taken at school about a month ago and they came in last week. The company that does these pictures brings in props and clothes for the kids, so we were told to just dress them normally that day. I had asked the girls how they were dressed for the pictures, but I never know what to believe when they tell me things. :)

First off, I can't believe they got Avery to smile! Maybe they promised her a lollipop or something, who knows. Secondly, I think the girls look like little 80's teenagers getting ready for a day at the mall! Seriously, the jean jacket and the big bow - love it!

I look at these pictures and think... how can these girls be getting SO big?!?

"School" Pictures

The girls had pictures taken at daycare back in November.  I think these pictures sum up the girls' personalities very nicely. Morgan is happy-go-lucky and Avery is the skeptical one. The photographer said Avery wasn't so sure she should smile and this was the best they could get out of her. Ha!
