Our Elf has made a return for another year! She brought with her a fun advent calendar for each of the girls!

The Elf is back!

Twinkle Toes has returned for another Christmas season! So far, she has been very nice! She brought the girls their Advent Calendars and some Smencils! We'll see what kind of trouble she gets into this year!

Silly Elf

Don't eat the poop!

Twinkle Toes had some "free reindeer poop" today in our bathroom. The girls found her and came back out of the bathroom and Morgan is chewing on something. I look at her and say "did you just eat one of those poops???" She said, "yeah, mom, they're just tootsie rolls". Um, yeah, that's true, but they've been sitting in our bathroom on the gross countertop and were probably created with hands that weren't expecting people to be eating them. Oy.

Twinkle Toes is back!

Our elf, Twinkle Toes, has returned for another year of hijinks! Our elf always brings the girls Advent calendars with her, so they were really excited to see what they got this year. They both got slime Advent calendars! Yikes!

Oh, Twinkle Toes

Twinkle Toes was bad today! She cut off Barbie's hair! (And as Morgan said "she didn't even cut it straight - she cut it at an angle!")

Just a little Christmas cheer...

The Elf brought some goodies for the girls... along side the xmas trees Papa made for the girls. :)

Naughty Elf

Twinkle Toes is back!

Twinkle Toes made her appearance on December 1st to kick off the holiday season! She brought the girls their Advent calendars. Morgan's has fidgets and Avery's has jewelry.

One morning the girls woke up to find she had made a heart with a string of lights in our front room.

Another day, she dumped out ALL of our leftover Halloween candy on the dining room table!

I didn't take a picture of the day she left them squishies... but they were pretty happy with that!

The Elf messed up the girls classroom and they thought it was hilarious! They said "how are we going to do school today?!?"

Twinkle Toes

I should have taken more pictures of what that silly Elf did this year! She gave the girls giggles and left them sweet notes and some new books to read throughout the month. They were really sad to say good-bye on Christmas Eve. They each gave her a big hug and said "see you next year"!

The Elf

I must admit that I like seeing the girls' faces in the morning when they find Twinkle Toes each day. But, it is a pain remembering to wake up early and move her each morning. A few of the girls' favorites this year...

On Christmas Eve, the girls gave Twinkle Toes a hug good-bye until next year. Santa told them they were only allowed to touch her on Christmas Eve, so they jumped at the chance. At first, they were both scared to hold her, but that didn't last long.

Then, they decided to put her next to our reindeer food and make sure she had everything she needed for the night (including a bath tub and toliet!)

The Elf is back!

Our Elf (aka Twinkle Toes) is back! She's dressed in her ballet finest and is ready to cause havoc! :) The girls still talk about the things Twinkle Toes did last year. I'm going to have to get a little more creative this year... if I can wake up early enough!

I caved

They have an Elf on the Shelf at school and have seen the show. Avery asked when our Elf would be getting here. So, I caved and got one. I got a little ballerina outfit for it and we named it Twinkle Toes.
