Animal Lover

A few more pics from the zoo... this girl loves animals and did not want to leave the goat area. She fed them, brushed them, talked to them, hugged them, all of that! She says she wants to be a vet when she grows up. :)

Trip to the zoo

We went to the Z-O-O today as the girls have been calling it. They learned how to spell zoo, so that's how they say it now. :)

We always start every day at the zoo off with a carousel ride.

My little joeys
We checked out the Amazing Arachnids exhibit. There were a lot of tarantulas!

Digging for spiders

Huge Lego spider

You were supposed to spin the wheel to find out which animal you were and then find it in the maze. The girls both found their animal.

My little monkeys... :)

Avery can't pass up a chance to get her face painted!

Purple princess

We had a picnic at the zoo. The girls were really freaked out by all the geese that kept trying to steal their food. Luckily, Daddy is a great goose scarer. :)

And not to be left out, Morgan decided she wanted to get her face painted, too.

Parrot
Our last stop on the way out of the zoo was at the butterfly house. This is one of the girls' favorites. Morgan tries so hard to get some to land on her.

Pre-K Graduation

The girls officially graduated from their Pre-Kindergarten class at school this past week. They are off to Kindergarten this fall! I was getting teary eyed watching the video the school had put together of pictures of the kiddos from when they first started at daycare through the years. They also gave us a book with tons of pictures from the past four years that the girls have been at the daycare. I can't believe how much they've changed!

Official graduation photos:

Diplomas - so it's official!

The cousins got to stand by each other
The girls each got an award during the ceremony (along with all the other kids - ha!)

These are the books the teachers made for us with all the pictures. They are awesome!

Avery with one of her best friends Myranda
There was a small cake reception in the cafeteria after the ceremony. The girls have made some really great friends while at daycare. I'm sad that none of them will be at our same elementary school. But, I'm sure the girls will make many more great friends in the future!

Some highlights from the ceremony:

(You can really hear Avery saying the Pledge of Allegiance because of the way she was standing and the microphone placement! She has such a little munchkin voice! Ha!)
