4th of July

We spent the 4th of July at Brett's house swimming and hanging out! The kids had fun doing silly jumps off the diving board!

When we got home, there was a lot of manicuring going on! :)

We decided last minute to check out the fireworks at Ty Warner. There was supposed to be a drone show, too, but that got canceled. All the fireworks in the area were canceled due to the weather, so this one was packed! It was really foggy and there were a few times the fireworks were hard to see. But, overall, it was a great show! :)

Happy 4th of July

Brett hosted a party at his house for the 4th. The kids had a blast! They swam in the pool and chillaxed in the hot tub! They also had quite a lot of fun on the slip-n-slide. My Dad made ice cream and Brett brought out the sparklers! Matt had smoked some pulled pork to have for dinner, which was delicious!

The slip-n-slide got a little crazy! I'm surprised the slide lasted the day! And I'm also surprised no one was hurt! They kept running up the slide while the others were going down the slide trying to wipe them out like it was bowling or something! :)

Then, it was time for some sparklers!

Brett had this brilliant idea... yikes! Surprisingly no one was seriously burned!

Brett hosted everyone at his house for the 4th. Luckily, the weather cooperated and the kids were able to swim!

They even tried out the new hot tub!

Happy 4th of July

We spent our 4th of July at the pool. We grabbed sandwiches from Jersey Mike's (and Subway for Avery) and got to the pool when it opened at 11:00. We were lucky to grab a nice shady spot. Morgan was the very first one in the pool for the day! :)

Such a gorgeous day!

The girls played with their friends for hours. They swam, dove, played water games, played volleyball and gaga ball, had loads of snacks and enjoyed the day! I think they finally got tired and wanted to come home close to 4:30. At home, Matt grilled out, we had dinner and crashed.

 It was such a nice day and our shady spot really helped, as it was REALLY hot!
