The first snow!

It snowed! It stuck around for a few hours, so the kids got to play a little bit!

More snow time

Trying to get as much playtime in the snow before it melts! Morgan went out, but Avery stayed warm inside. Milo CRIED at the door until we let him out to play with Morgan. That dog loves to be outside! He still has a nasty cough, but seems to be feeling a lot better - thank goodness!

 

Snowy day!

We finally got some snow! The girls of course had to get all bundled up and get outside and play!

Milo had a good night's sleep and is responding well to the antibiotics and felt much better today! He was watching the girls and the snow and wanted to get out there! He got to try out his new winter coat from Erin and Ross.

Here's his first experience... all he wanted to do is lick/eat the snow!

They all had fun playing in the snow! :)

So.much.snow

We have had so much snow lately! And it's been too cold for the kids to get outside and enjoy it, which is such a bummer. Today, the girls bundled up and spent a good 15 minutes outside before they had to come inside for some hot chocolate!

More snow

We went sledding again at Hummer Park.

A few videos from the day... Matt even took a turn on the sled! :)

Later that day, we went for a walk up to the school to play and Morgan wore a silly hat! And her pajamas! :)

Snow!

We got outside to enjoy the snow and sunshine! So glad everyone is feeling better!

Snow

I'm so done with all the snow... seriously, let's get to Spring already! At least the girls enjoyed it.

Our poor plants had just started growing and then got pummeled by snow.

Matt and Morgan built a large snowman. Avery wanted to build a baby snowman.

We decided to draw faces on them with markers. Ha! It worked just fine.

Morgan even tried drawing hair on the sides of her snowman's head.

And just like that, the snow melted as fast as it came down. Going, going...

Practically gone in less than a day.

Snow Fun

Some fun playtime with our cousins outside in the snow last weekend. My parents were in town helping out with the boys, so Papa got to help with the shoveling and sledding.

We went sledding at a nearby park. Papa helped propel the girls down the hill!



This is the first time the girls had been sledding (unless you count the manmade hill of snow we made in our backyard last snowfall!)

Blizzard

We got a little bit of snow this past week. The girls already had the day off of school for a teacher institute day, so no "official" snow day for them. No matter, they still enjoyed playing outside in it. Since we really don't have any hills near us, we let the girls sled down the icy driveway. They loved it! Then, we warmed up by the fire with hot chocolate.

Snow storm

Last week, we enjoyed a small snow storm. Just enough snow to play in. The girls have been waiting patiently for a reason to wear their snow pants!
