Sunday

Today, I spent about an hour or so sitting out in the sun and finished the book I'm reading... You've Been Warned by James Patterson. Strange book. I'm not sure I really liked it all that much, but I did read it really fast in two sittings. Probably because I wanted to get to the end and find out what the heck was going on.

After that, Ross grilled out at Erin's place and we had an impromptu bbq. Ross did an awesome job... we had brats, hot dogs, asparagus, potatoes and corn on the cob. I was stuffed! We played some euchre. Brett and I won both games! : )

Now I'm just going through all the pics from this weekend. And watching Million Dollar Password. Betty White is on the show tonight... I just love her! : )

It was such a fun weekend... it was nice to stay in town. It seems like forever since Matt and I have been in Chicago on a weekend.

Lotsa sun

Today, I decided to catch some rays on the 4th floor porch. I was out there about 3 hours and the parts of my body that normally don't see the sunlight got a little lobster red. I even put on sunscreen... guess I need like 50 spf. That's what sitting indoors for the majority of my days does to me. My body doesn't know what to do when actual sunlight hits it! : )

While I was doing that, Matt was out golfing and then he went for a few drinks. Now, he's snoring on the couch!

On a side note: I had a great video of him snoring. I waited 'til he woke up to make sure that he wouldn't mind me posting it... but he minded and used his veto power to make me delete it. : (

Beautiful Day

Matt and I started the day off at Flat Top Grill with their breakfast brunch. Way too much food, but super delish! Since it was so nice outside, we hopped the bus over to Grant Park. The weather was a little chilly in the shade, but perfect in the sun. We walked down to Shedd Aquarium and back up through Grant Park. There were quite a lot of people out... the Avon Walk was also finishing up, so there were lots of walkers passing by.
