Pottery class

The Brownies went to a pottery class and made bowls. Avery had fun decorating her clay and painting it. We will post the picture of the final product once we get it back. They were going to fire it in the oven.

Brownies field trip

The Brownies took a tour of the town's water treatment plant. I tagged along with her. It was a really yucky day and most of the tour was outside!

Weekend

Started the weekend off with a soccer game. And look what was the best part... an ice cream truck stopped by the parking lot! He knows where to go!

Then, we dropped Avery off for a Girl Scout campout. She originally had not wanted to spend the night, so we were planning to pick her up at 8:00 PM. But, I got a text from the troop leader saying Avery really wanted to stay over and if we would bring her some clothes. So, she had her first sleepover! I think she had a blast!

While Avery was at camp, Morgan and I headed to Crystal Lake to hang out with the fam and go to a carnival. There were a few rides, a petting zoo, a maze, a magic show, a hayrack ride... just lots of fun things!

Yoga with Brownies

The girls finally got to do their yoga class with the Brownie troop after a few reschedules. Beautiful day for it!

Painting with the Brownies

The girls had a painting party with their Brownie troop. It was also Gwen's birthday, so lots of fun!

Christmas Tree

The girls' Brownie troop made ornaments for the town's tree, so we went over to find our ornaments. Morgan's was easy to find, but it took a while to find Avery's. Luckily, we found both of them!
