New toys

Since it was uber hot outside yesterday, we decided to do something with a/c. So we took the girls to Build-a-Bear to use their gift cards from Aunt Sandi and Uncle Brett.

They finally selected which stuffed animal they wanted. Avery picked the sparkly blue and purple bear with the light-up ears and nose. Morgan picked the T-rex. Such different tastes!

They picked out the noises for their toys. Avery's says "I love you" and Morgan's roars like a T-rex.

After the animals were stuffed, we gave them "baths" and printed out their birth certificates. They boxed them up at the store for the trip home. Once we got home, it was like Christmas or something. The girls were so excited to open the boxes and see their toys again!

Daddy sure is silly

So much silliness!

Then the girls wanted to walk around with their animals on their shoulders - ha!

Dress up

This is how Avery wanted to go to school on Thursday. I was able to convince her to take off the princess shoes and put on her sneakers. Ha!

"I got glubs on"

Just a little video from the beach... Avery kept putting sand on her hands and calling it "glubs".

Kropscott Family Vacay

We spent last weekend plus a few days in Michigan with Matt's extended family. We stayed at a place called the Double JJ Ranch in a log cabin. The cabins were arranged so that families could stay near each other, which was nice. We all got together for meals and then split up for various activities. The girls had so much fun playing with all the other kiddos. We spent some time at the park and swam in the kiddie pool and built sandcastles at the beach! Avery cried when we left and when we got home - she kept saying "I don't want to go home". Even the next day when we picked her up from school at night, she asked "We going to the cabin?" and was really disappointed when we told her we were going home. Poor girl!
