New deck

We got the deck finished and we love it! We originally just had a 6x6 concrete slab and that was not cutting it! Matt is so happy to have a new grill, too!

A little pre-Halloween fun

The old movie theater in downtown DG was having a "Halloween Happening" party on Saturday, so we dressed the kiddos up and went. It was a costume contest and a free movie. Since the girls have never been to a movie in a theater, I was glad it was free. I knew they wouldn't sit for long. We got there too late for the costume contest judging portion (oops - my bad!), but they still let us parade on the stage with the "Fashionably late arrivals". The kids had fun running around the theater and seeing all the other kids dressed in costumes. The movie was a little louder and scarier than was good for their age group, so we didn't stay long once the movie started. Plus, the kids were hungry and tired. They all took good naps when we got home! :)
