Halloween / Birthday Party

We had our annual cousins' birthday party to celebrate Avery (13), Morgan (13), Grayson (13), Nolan (12), Beckett (11) and Hunter's (11) birthdays. Calvin is the only one not born in October or November. So, he gets to celebrate his "half-birthday". :)

All the kids on their devices at dinner... this was the only time they were quiet - ha!

Avery got an automatic curling iron and had to try it out immediately!

After dinner, Erin had a puzzle challenge for the kids!

Trick or Treating

The girls went trick-or-treating with their friends. Avery and Maebel were dressed as construction workers. Morgan and Katherine were Cubs players. They all trick-or-treated in our neighborhood for a bit, then met up with their friends at Randall for more trick-or-treating. They got lots of candy! :)

Zoomie Champ

Milo was sporting his Halloween costume for a few minutes! 

He was not a fan. He jumped up on the couch and pouted. Matt came out and he just sat like this like "please help me, Dad!" Later, he did learn how to bite it off!

Fun at soccer!

Morgan's soccer team had practice the day before Halloween and a bunch of girls dressed up. She and her friend Abby dressed up as refs! She made the Roadrunners Instagram/Facebook page! :)

More Halloween Dances

Avery's other two classes had Halloween dances this week, too!

Started out with the lyrical class doing their dance...

Then, the jazz class did a dance!

We were "BOO"'ed!!!

A friend of Avery and Morgan's (Maebel) boo-ed them on Wednesday! They were excited to see the treats when they got home from their activities!

Hip Hop Halloween

Avery's dance school is doing short Halloween dances at the end of each class this week. On Monday night, she had her Hip Hop class and a cute little dance!

Halloween Window Painting

The girls went with Lizzie and Grace to paint windows downtown. It was a chilly morning! They said the paint wasn't sticking well to the windows this year, but it still turned out cute! :)

They finished off the morning with hot chocolate and treats!
