Bears Game
Erin had bought tickets for her family to go to the Bears game before learning that the final Matilda show conflicted with the game. So, she and Beckett couldn't go to the game. Morgan and Matt took the tickets and went with Ross, Grayson and Hunter to see the Bears v Vikings game.
Matt and Morgan took the train down, since Ross and the boys were coming from Aurora (Grayson had a basketball game). This was Morgan's first time on the Metra.
The game was a good one! The Bears tied it up in the 4th quarter to make the game go into overtime. The Bears ended up losing 30-27. But, these two goofballs still had a blast! :)

Wow... it's been awhile since I've been here!
I think this may be the longest I've gone without posting anything on here!
Work has been busy, especially for Matt. He finally got a break last weekend, which was great because my aunt June and uncle Chuck came up to Chicago for the weekend. We always have such a good time when they are in town!
On Saturday night, we went to Brownstone for some grub and to watch football. We stopped off at Keely's birthday party at The Pony for a few drinks. Erin was in one of her party moods and bought a round of shots for the party... danger!!!
This is what happens at our place after a night of drinking with Chuck...
Matt was able to get a couple Bears tickets, so he and Chuck put on tons of warm clothes and braved the cold and snow on Sunday. We kicked off the day with brunch, Bloody Marys and mimosas at our place. Andy and Matt skunked Chuck and I in euchre. Chuck and Matt said it wasn't too bad at the game sitting out in the cold. I'm sure the beer helped.
I met up with Erin, Ross, Brett and Kyle to watch the game indoors at the new brew pub by our house, Haymarket. It was packed! They didn't have enough tables, so they set up a table top on 2 empty kegs for us. A little shorter than the average table and maybe not as tip-resistant, but it worked great!
I'm glad tomorrow is Friday! I'm looking forward to the weekend and getting caught up on laundry! Yes, I know that sounds very exciting, right??? : ) With the crazy cold weather we're getting, I will be hibernating inside!

Great day for a game
Matt and I went to the Bears game today. Unfortunately, they didn't win, but we had a fun time! The weather was beautiful... of course, we were in the shade so it was a little chilly for us.
We met up beforehand at Eleven for brunch with a friend from work, Bridget, and her boyfriend Jim. Good food and awesome Bloody Marys.
