It's official... we're moving!
Yep, I'm doing a banner job at keeping up with the blog. I'm glad I don't make New Year's resolutions, because it would be a big fail.
It's been a busy month or so for the Plothows. We finally got a signed contract on the sale of our condo. There was a lot of back and forth after the inspection and we had to keep extending the attorney review period. Then, we found a house we loved in Downers Grove and made an offer. Unfortunately, there was another offer and we ended up in a bidding war. After a week of negotiating, we lost. We were really disappointed. So, we went back out and looked some more. We found another house we love. More negotiating. We had to change our close date on the sale of our condo in order to close when the sellers of the house wanted to close. Luckily, our buyers agreed to the earlier close date (with a little incentive). SO, we are now closing on our condo/house on April 30th and moving to our new house in Downers Grove on May 2nd. :) We have SO much to do in the next six weeks!
