Happy New Year!!!

We celebrated New Year's Eve with the Wilkens again this year! The kids had make-your-own pizzas and the adults had a fancy dinner of Wagyu steak, lobster tails and baked potato bar (courtesy of Matt!) We had ice cream sundaes for dessert. I think we celebrated midnight around 10:00 with a balloon drop for the kiddos. The girls made it past midnight this year! I was barely awake... ha! Erin and I played a few games of Word Yahtzee and we all played Hues and Cues. A fun night!

Milo was a good sport!

Hope you all have a happy and healthy New Year! :)

Happy New Year!

We spent New Year's Eve with the Wilkens at our house. Matt made prime rib for the adults and the kids got to make their own pizzas. We had our traditional balloon drop at "midnight"!

We played a few games. Here we are playing "Grab the Mic", which got a little intense! I was surprised at how many songs the kids know. They were really competitive!

Milo was the craziest of them all... he would not stop barking!

And this is where he ended up after we couldn't calm him down. He usually does better after a few minutes in jail.

Beckett was definitely the most decked-out person at the party!

The kids toasted to the New Year with their "wine".

Much better now... maybe he just wanted to wear some New Year's Eve gear!

Here's to another great year!

New Year's Eve

We started off the day with some blue candy! I'm pretty sure this was the bluest her mouth and teeth have ever been!

We got it mostly cleaned off and then headed to Yard House for lunch. Of course, we had to get the giant pretzel!

We came home and got ready for NYE! Brett and Erin came over with all the kiddos, so you know it was loud and nuts! We had make-your-own pizzas for the kids. Matt went all out this year and got steaks, Alaskan King crab legs, baked potatoes and asparagus for the adults!

We always have a bunch of fun props for NYE. And of course, Avery loves to model these for us!

Milo was being the bestest dog and really want to try some crab legs... unfortunately, he did not get any.

We had an ice cream sundae bar for dessert.

We did our balloon drop at "midnight" or like 9:30 for the kids!

New Year's Eve

We spent the afternoon of New Year's Eve bowling with the cousins. Then, everyone headed back to our place for pizza and a NYE party.

Midnight in New York!
She made it to midnight in Downers Grove, too... barely!
