Bathtime giggles

It's applesauce... not acid!

Apparently, applesauce on your foot is tragic... at least in Avery's world.

Lucky girls!

Here's a shout out for the best Daddy! This past weekend, he took on the kiddo duties and let me take a quick trip out of town to celebrate my friend JJ's 40th birthday in Omaha. Her husband threw her a surprise party and she was definitely surprised to see Crystal and I there! It was a fun weekend and so nice to catch up with JJ and her family!

While I was away in Omaha celebrating JJ's birthday, the girls spent some quality time with their Daddy! Based on the pictures Matt texted me, I think they had a lot of fun!

Avery learned the art of selfies

Lots of sunshine and outdoor time

We finally have grass in the backyard

Happy Father's Day to Matt! The girls and I are super lucky to have you around! :)

Easter in June?

Doesn't everyone like to wear their Easter hats to sweep the floor???

Or to push non-existent babies around in a stroller???

Grandpa

We got a quick visit from Grandpa and Grandma this past Sunday. When Grandpa pulled up the driveway, I said to Morgan "Where's Grandpa?" She immediately ran to grab the book of pictures to find his picture (see post from the other day). So cute! She was super excited to see him in person! She loves playing with his hat, glasses and mustache!

Haircuts

Last weekend, we took the girls for their first official haircuts. Really, I wanted Morgan's hair cut, but figured since we're going, might as well get Avery's baby mullet cleaned up.

The girls were great and sat nicely for the haircuts. The lady gave them a bin full of sparkly toy rings to play with, which was a big hit. Morgan was a little upset by the water spray bottle that the lady kept spaying on her hair. But, the cuts were quick and we got a nice little certificate with some locks of hair for each of them to keep for their baby book.

Later that day... I'm loving their shorter 'dos!

Milk

Avery was being really quiet, which I've learned is never a good thing. This is how I found her... milk everywhere!!! She had a paper towel that was soaked that she had rung out on her head... hence, the wet hair. Ugh.

Oatmeal "hair gel"

This morning before heading out to daycare, Avery was showing me where her hair was... unfortunately, she had a handful of oatmeal while doing that! She thought it was pretty funny! I did not.

Have I mentioned that Morgan l-o-v-e-s her Grandpa?!?!

Sisterly love

Lately, the girls have been really into loving on each other... lots of hugging!

I think they learned this from the little boy at daycare that loves to give the girls hugs and kisses every day. :)
