Easter Baptism

I was asked to be a godmother for Kayla Marie, Hany and Grant's adorable little girl. The baptism was in Peoria, so my parents drove up from Rochester to meet us and we all stayed at the Par-A-Dice casino/hotel Saturday night.

We celebrated Easter with dinner out Saturday night and lots of gambling! Matt spent the majority of his hours in Peoria in the casino and a certain brother-in-law of mine may have closed down the casino on Saturday night (or early Sunday morning).

On Sunday, the girls headed to the baptism. Kayla was a champ and did very well during the baptism. She even turned on the charm and gave the church a big smile!

Welcome Kayla Marie!

On Sept 26, Hany and Grant welcomed their new baby girl to the world. She was born around 12:20 pm and weighed in at 7 lbs 2 oz and was 19 inches long.

Erin and I went to visit them at the hospital and little Kayla was adorable! So tiny! She has a head full of dark hair.

Baby shower

Today, Erin and I threw Hany a baby shower. She's due in one month and is expecting a little girl. The baby's room is going to be decorated with pink and purple butterflies. So cute!
