"MAMA"

The kids all call my Mom "Mama" instead of Grandma. Similarly, they call Grandpa "Papa".

Even though we were celebrating Papa this weekend, the kids were all super excited to see Mama. Her lap isn't big enough to hold all of them! They kept yelling "Mama" and "me" to get her attention. So cute! :)

Happy Birthday Papa!

We celebrated my Dad's birthday this weekend with a little party at Erin's house. :)

I found a t-shirt that I thought would be fun for the kids to do for Grandpa. I figured it would be fun for my Dad to watch them do it. I also assumed the kids would enjoy it. The girls loved it, but the rest of the kiddos acted like we were putting acid on their hands! Ha! :)

The before picture

Avery and Morgan made red handprints

Avery was very serious!

Morgan loved it!

Just like painting at home

Poor Nolan - he just didn't understand

It wasn't easy getting a handprint out of a 4 month old!

Grandpa added his handprint to the bottom

Kiddos eating dinner - Nolan chilling on the bean bag chair

Morgan had to sit on Papa's lap while we sang Happy Birthday

Gymnastics

Gymnastics is going very well for the girls. During the second class, Avery started participating more and loved it. This past class, she did everything along with all the other kids! She had a blast!

I love Grayson's face in this picture - he's having a blast getting flipped by the "coach"

Morgan waiting patiently for the coach to flip her - ha!

These three goobers ran up to the trampoline and waited impatiently until the coach gave them permission to go

This is the first time Avery got up on the trampoline track

Chillin' in the ball pit

Guess we won't be going out in the backyard

Matt's been super busy shoveling!

Team work

Being cooped up in the house all day... decided to play some (basket)tee ball. Avery needs a big target! The girls are a great team. Of course, we had to make some rules about waiting until Morgan is out of the way before swinging the bat. Poor Morgan got knocked in the head a few times! :)

Super Bowl party

With the crappy weather, we didn't really do much for the Super Bowl. We decided to make breakfast for dinner and let the girls help. They have been really into "cooking" lately. They make us "food" in their little kitchen and love to watch Matt cook on Sundays.

The girls are really aware of each other's feelings now and notice when the other is hurt or sad. They love to hug each other. Sometimes it's really sweet and sometimes the hugging leads to wrestling. Ha!

Snowy day

We got pummeled with snow over the past day! Yesterday morning, we took the girls out to help shovel. They loved helping Daddy! Afterwards, the girls and I had some hot chocolate by the fire. We stayed inside where it was warm and watched Matt finish up the shoveling! :) Of course, this was just the beginning. Matt shoveled 3 more times after this!
