Thomas the Train
We went to the Illinois Railway Museum for the Thomas the Train Day with my family. We did this same thing last year and it was a fun time. The girls like all the activities that are included.

Random T-Rex
The girls love the player piano at Mariano's. Matt told Morgan there was an invisible man that plays the piano and I'm pretty sure she believed him. Avery always tells Morgan there's no such thing as an invisible man. We thought this was pretty funny the other day when the piano was playing! Someone at Mariano's has a sense of humor!
Week of 4th of July
Just trying to catch up here... we spent the 4th of July in town this year. Since we had just gotten home from our Michigan vacation, we wanted to relax!
We started off with a trip to Ball Factory in Naperville. It was like 1,000 degrees in there, but the kids had a blast!
Ross and Erin and the boys came over for the 4th and we let the kids run around with sparklers. Surprisingly, no one was burned! Thank goodness!
To keep busy and stay out of the heat/rain, we took a trip to Hobby Lobby. There is so much fun stuff at that store! The girls love going there almost as much as they love going to Target. This time we found princess hats and tons of crafts to do!
We also made a random stop at the library to exchange some books. Turns out they were having an animal show. And Morgan got to pet a skunk! Avery could have, but she declined... no surprise there!
We also did one of our favorite summer pastimes - coloring with chalk on the driveway. Avery says to me "Mommy, did I get any chalk on my face?" Um, maybe just a little. :)

Family Pictures
Every year we get professional pictures taken while on vacation. It's fun to see how the kids change year after year. :)
Some family pictures
Brett set up the tripod and took pictures of all of us at the park again in New Buffalo. It takes like 5 pictures really fast in succession.
Then we took some silly pictures where everyone was making faces, etc. When we got done, Hunter was super upset and crying and we're all wondering what happened. After Brett reviewed the pictures, we saw what the problem was.... it was Beckett! Those boys! :)
