Kindergarten is hard y'all

Morgan gets so exhausted at Kindergarten and the after school program. Some nights she just needs a little power nap! :)

We had been trying to find a good weekend to camp out in the backyard this summer, but it's been really hot or rainy or we've been out of town. So, we decided to do it on a weekend where it wasn't supposed to be too hot. Well, overnight it wasn't terrible, but it was still warmer than I would like it to be when I'm sleeping outside in a tent. :)

Jaguar Jog

The girls elementary school holds a race each year called the Jaguar Jog. The jaguar is their school mascot. It was unseasonably hot this year! The girls were excited to wear numbers and get apples at the end of the race. We were all super sweaty and ready for some air conditioning!

Preschool cuties

While the boys were waiting for their new nanny to start, I helped out by picking them up from preschool and taking them to daycare a couple of days. They love preschool and they look so cute with their backpacks!

Goat

The boys had been to the zoo earlier in the day and Grayson had his face painted. So, of course, when we went over for a playdate, the girls asked Aunt Erin to paint their faces. Morgan really wanted to be a goat, but I think she ended up looking more like a fox.

She then drew a picture of a goat with chalk when we went outside to give Aunt Erin some inspiration for next time. And yes, the goat is pooping. :)

Another trip to the zoo

We try to use our zoo membership as much as possible. We've been all through the zoo.

We can't miss a carousel ride... it's our favorite!

Birthday Party

A friend of the girls' from their old daycare (Hannah) had a birthday party a few weeks ago. The girls were so excited to see their old friends. And even more excited when they saw that their friend, Maddie, was there. She had moved away and they miss her! It was like a little reunion and all the girls had such a blast!
