I sent this picture to the girls over messenger because they were wondering when I'd be home. Morgan responded with "OMG! How did you get your hair wet with your mask on?" Ha!

Quarantine Day 123: Hair
Today, I finally got to get back to the hair salon for a highlight and a cut. My hair was getting a little too dark!

Quarantine Day 121: Family Video
Since we aren't having an in person family vacation with the Kropscotts this year, we are taking it virtual. First, we are all submitting little videos of what we've been up to or a message to the family. Then, over the week we would have been on vacation, we're going to have some fun activities via Zoom. Here is the video I submitted (I'm not a good at this stuff, so take that into account when viewing - ha!)
Today, we did some more park hopping. In the morning, we climbed trees at Hummer Park.
In the afternoon, we went to Concord Park. Matt has been finding new parks in DG for the kiddos to try out. This one had a long balance beam type thing that bounced. I've never seen anything like it before, but of course didn't take a picture. Maybe next time we're there. The girls played at the park and also "auditioned" for a dance show on the basketball court. It never ceases to amaze us what they come up with! :)

Quarantine Day 120: Busy day!
We packed a lot into this day! The weather was gorgeous, definitely not as steamy as it's been all week. So, we took advantage of that. We started off the day with a walk around the neighborhood and a stop at the little park by our house.
Then, we tie-dyed shirts. Note for next time - make sure to wash the shirts before tie-dying.
Then, we decided to go to the zoo in the afternoon. You can only go if you make reservations online ahead of time. So, we booked for a 3:30 entry time. There were signs all around reminding you to stay 6 feet away from people and if you can't, you need to wear a mask. It really wasn't that crowded while we were there. There were a few areas that were more crowded than others, but we were able to keep our distance from people. All of the indoor exhibits were closed, so we walked around and checked out the Dinos and the outside animals.
And in case you were wondering how the tie-dye shirts turned out, here you go! Not too bad. Avery's was supposed to be a heart, but that was a fail. She still loved it though. We're going to give it another try and wash the shirts ahead of time and see if we can do a better job next time.
Here's a little video of Morgan playing with the leopard.

Quarantine Day 116: New washing machine
Our washing machine was on its last leg and we were told it would cost as much to fix it as it would be to just get a new one. So, we said good bye to the old one and got a new one. Decided to go with a Samsung thanks to the friends and family discount Erin gets with her new job! :) Let's hope this one lasts longer the first one!

Quarantine Day 114-115: July 4th in Rochester
We spent the weekend at my parents' house in Rochester with the rest of the fam. The kiddos enjoyed all the pool toys Regina brought over for them. And they liked playing in the loft of the new sunroom. They got to have a sleepover out there with Grandma and Grandpa! :) And Papa made his famous ice cream, which we all devoured!
You know the kiddos had a good weekend when they both crashed in the car on the way home. They are NOT car sleepers (unfortunately!), especially Avery. I don't even know how she slept like this... it looks so uncomfortable!

Quarantine Day 113: Lost tooth
Avery lost another tooth... it was a tiny one!
Matt normally has a cooking class event during the summer with the interns. Since we are all working from home, they did the cooking class over Microsoft Teams. I got to share... they made tostadas... yum!
New signs at the now-opened parks.
Just love these three goofballs...
Morgan wanted to make sure she had her stuffed animals near her for bedtime. She's giving me a look like, "what?!?!?"
