The girls' Brownie troop made ornaments for the town's tree, so we went over to find our ornaments. Morgan's was easy to find, but it took a while to find Avery's. Luckily, we found both of them!

Elf Shenanigans
The Elf messed up the girls classroom and they thought it was hilarious! They said "how are we going to do school today?!?"
Ugly Sweater
It was ugly sweater day at school and the girls got to wear their "ugly" but cute sweaters!
Fruit!!!
We got a load of wonderful fruit as a gift from Richard and Marcia. So, of course, we took some silly pictures! :)

Conferences
We had parent-teacher conferences the other night over Zoom. The girls had to switch teachers when we went back to hybrid Oct 20th, so their new teacher is Ms. Sullivan. Ideally, we'd love the girls to have different teachers just for their independence and to cut down on the competition. Of course, this year is a whole different ballgame and keeping them in the same class was best for everyone's sanity. Trying to coordinate Zooms for one classroom is hard enough! :)
I was surprised by how well the teacher knew each of the girls' personalities and working styles in the short amount of time she actually spends with them in person. Avery is excelling in math (must be genetics - ha!) and loves reading. Morgan also is doing great at math and reading. She tends to lose interest pretty quickly in schoolwork, though. She'd much rather be running around doing something active. As far as their other subjects and specials (art, music, PE and library), no complaints or concerns there. Overall, both girls got rave reviews from the teacher and she said she loves having them in her class.

We are getting family pictures taken, so the girls were practicing their smiles for the big day!
Of course, Avery loves to get her picture taken, so she looks pretty normal here.
And then there's Morgan, always the jokester!
