Halloween Dance

Avery's dance studio did a little Halloween party with a dance for the parents. Avery decided to wear her unicorn onesie to be comfortable and able to dance in her costume. The Hermione Granger one would have been a little difficult.

Halloween at school

The school had Halloween this year with actual classroom parties! Yay! :)

The kids had to wear their costumes to school and couldn't bring any props, so Toto and Avery's magic wand had to stay home.

Despite the rain, the principal decided to have the Halloween parade for the parents. The kids LOVE this! We were all standing around with our umbrellas in the mist, but it was great to see the kids' costumes.

Morgan made the weekly school newsletter - a pic with her friends!

Rain rain go away, Milo wants to go outside and play

This dog loves the outdoors... he was so sad that he couldn't be outside. :(

Pumpkin decorating party

The girls had a few friends over to decorate pumpkins. It was POURING outside, so what we thought would be a fun back porch activity got moved to the garage.

They were so excited... just waiting by the door for their friends to arrive!

We used a lot of paint and a LOT of glitter!

Morgan was the only one that carved a pumpkin.

They were showing me their Thriller dance... good thing Matt had swept out the garage beforehand!

There was a lot of dancing!

They even made up a dance!

Afterwards, we had hot chocolate and donuts inside.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a nearby pumpkin patch for a little fall fun. The weather was chilly, but sunny, so it was perfect. We got the right as it opened to avoid some of the crowds. By the time we left, it was getting really busy!

One of Morgan's requirements for a pumpkin farm is a petting zoo. She loves feeding the animals. There was even a pig with new little babies.

Morgan also has to have a corn pit to play in! Both the girls love this! Even Daddy does!

There was also a barn filled with bales of hay to play on.

Then, we took a ride on the pumpkins ride.

Avery was SOOOO excited to see they had funnel cakes at the pumpkin patch!

Also a hit was the large jumping pillow... but it got a little too crowded.
