Playing basketball with the boys

We tried to get the most out of the nice weather, so met up with the boys to play basketball and then headed to the park.

Trip to the Zoo

The weather was gorgeous and warm, so we decided to head to the zoo (along with half the other parents in the area - ha!)

We went to watch the sea lions and they were being so playful! We talked with a zookeeper there and she told us that they are curious animals. If you put a backpack near the window, they will come over to you to check it out. So, we did and they kept coming over by us and following the girls fingers. It was really cool!

This one was itching its nose with its tail. The zookeeper said she had never seen them do that before!

Jumping on a day off!

The girls had Friday off school. We were trying to find something to do, but lots of places were closed since it was typically a school day. We decided to try out the trampoline park called Altitude in Lombard. It was ok. The girls had fun, but the place itself was not the best.

This video shows the total difference in Avery and Morgan. Morgan just jumps, Avery is a little more cautious. She did eventually just jump off like Morgan, but this was the first attempt.

Shorts + Snow

After all the snow, we had an unseasonably warm day. The girls immediately threw shorts on to head out to play, of course!

Morgan continues to love karate and does such a great job! She'll be testing for another belt in about a month. :)

Another lost tooth... or teeth?

Morgan had been working on a loose tooth for a few days. She went to school and it was really bothering her. I saw her at lunch when I went to volunteer at school and she told me she had pulled it out! Later that night while she was eating Wheat Thins, she screamed that something hurt, then her mouth was bleeding. We didn't think much of it until a little later when she kept saying her mouth felt funny. We looked in her mouth and noticed there were 2 teeth missing now! She must have swallowed the second one! She requested that the Tooth Fairy bring her something other than money this time. She was so nice about it, too! :)

New 'do

Milo was getting a little scruffy, so we made a trip to the groomer. He came back with a lot less hair!
