Sprinkler fun

On the day we were packing up for Michigan, Matt set up our new sprinkler to water the grass. The girls and I were watching from the back porch. As soon as the water shot out, Morgan ran out and started jumping through the sprinkler... until she was completely soaked! Avery sat back with me on the porch and watched Morgan for awhile before venturing out. They both had a blast! Morgan kept putting her face right in the sprinkler, then screamed when it hit her (um, ouch!) and then did it over again and again. Ha!

The girls made a birthday card for Grandma. Don't mind the missing letters... we seriously have only had these letters for a month and have already lost half of them!

The girls are getting good at going up and down the stairs. Sometimes, they think they are better than they are. They have also learned how much fun it is to throw stuff over the balcony into the foyer.

Grandma Ruth came for a visit last weekend and the girls had a blast coloring, playing with play-doh, checking out pictures on Grandma's cell phone, having tea parties and making a couple visits to the park! It rained quite a bit, so we had a lot of indoor play time!

Avery loves taking off and putting on her clothes lately. This is how we found her the other night.

Michigan 2014

Over the 4th of July holiday, we loaded up our truck and headed to Michigan for a week of sun and fun times with the fam. We lucked out with the weather being gorgeous most days (so much better than last year). My parents stayed nearby and hung out with us at the house during the days. The girls loved spending time with Grandma and Papa and their cousins.
