Snow storm

Last week, we enjoyed a small snow storm. Just enough snow to play in. The girls have been waiting patiently for a reason to wear their snow pants!

So glad to have Mama Ruth closer to us...

Slot car racing birthday party

The girls' friend from school, Max, had a birthday party at a nearby slot car racing place. We have never been to anything like this before. The girls were a little hesitant at first, but absolutely loved it! Morgan was a big winner and was so sad to leave at the end of the party. :)

Happy Anniversary to us!

Matt and I celebrated our nine year anniversary with a dinner out. Thanks to my parents for babysitting the little ones! :)

Silliness...

We got a free appetizer and a free dessert... nice!

Rough day for Bat Girl

Morgan calls me into the playroom to tell me that Bat Girl is being attacked by wild animals...

A friend's birthday

The girls' friend from daycare, Audrey, invited them to celebrate her birthday again this year at the gymnastics place. They get to do all sorts of fun stuff! And they were really excited to see Audrey again, since she goes to school with Grayson to a different elementary school.

Cousins' birthday celebration

Our annual cousins' birthday party was last weekend. We have lots of birthdays to celebrate - Avery and Morgan on Oct 5th, Beckett and Hunter on Oct 8th, Nolan on Oct 13th and Grayson on Nov 3rd. This year, the bigger kids went bowling and then we had pizza, cake and presents back at our house afterwards. There was also a little leaf pile jumping. :)

The girls got the leaves ready in the morning.

Avery already has a good "bowler lean"... never works though!

Morgan and Grayson always bowled together and this is how they would bowl EVERY SINGLE TIME. Take off running and slide into throwing the ball.

Back at our house, it was chaos (as usual)! The kids had a blast (as usual)!

We get 6 little cakes so everyone has a chance to blow out their own candle.

My dad made homemade ice cream that was  huge hit, especially with Calvin!

And here he is, ice cream extraordinaire!

Afterwards, the kids played with their new presents, which included some light up gloves.
