Cousins' Birthday Party

We had a halloween/birthday party to celebrate all the October/November birthdays. This is basically all the kiddos except Calvin. He's the odd man out since he was born in May. Avery, Morgan and Grayson turned seven. Nolan turned six and Beckett and Hunter are five.

I was a witch and the girls were my black cats. :)

Everybody gets their own cake to blow out the candles. This year, I got these sparkler style number things, which were a little scary! The kids eyes during the video crack me up!

Lots of fun hanging out with the cousins!

Pin the smile on the skeleton!

Doing crafts with Grandma!

Brett wearing Calvin's costume. :)

And this is what happens after the party is over... Morgan was exhausted. She loves wearing her sleep mask to bed. Cracks me up!

Boo at the Zoo

We went to Brookfield Zoo's Boo at the Zoo again this year. The weather was gorgeous and it was packed! The kids dressed up as Wonder Woman and Bat Girl. I had a partial Cat in the Hat costume on. :)

Gigantic pumpkin carving...

Superheroes...

Pumpkin smashing machine...

The craft at the children's area was a bat you could wear on your finger, so Avery was all about doing that to go with her costume.

Morgan showing off her Wonder Woman strength.

We fed the birds and the goats, too.

Block Party

A friend of the girls' from school, Lizzie, lives a few streets down from us. Her block was hosting a block party and they invited us to come down.

The fire department made a stop for the kids to check out the truck. Morgan loves this stuff!

Avery and Lizzie in the car. The kids thought it was so neat that they could ride their bikes all over the streets without worrying about cars coming!

There was even a chili cook-off! We didn't enter since we're not technically from that block, but the chilis were all delicious!

Lizzie's Dad has an old school cotton candy machine. He let the kids each make their own cotton candy!

Halloween with Grandma Ruth

The place Ruth lives had a Halloween party with trick-or-treating and even a haunted house. The girls loved getting candy, but did a 180 after walking into the haunted house. It was all just animatronics, no live people jumping out or anything. But, was still a little too much for them.

They both wanted to be Jasmine for Halloween. Luckily, there were two different costumes, so they didn't have to be the exact same. :)

I was surprised that the Jasmine hair-dos almost lasted the whole day! I didn't get a picture of the original do's, but this is at the end of the day.
