More July 4th Fun

The weekend of July 4th, we spent a day out in Crystal Lake watching the local parade, enjoying the carnival rides and then finished off with a BBQ at my brother's house (complete with homemade ice cream courtesy of my Dad!). The weather turned out to be great, although it was really hot. No rain!

Morgan loved the teacups. Avery's first thing she said to Morgan "don't spin it too much" and of course, Morgan spun the teacup the whole time! Avery had fun, though, even though the second picture below shows her with a scowl. :)

Morgan showing off one of the prizes she won. Avery also won an inflatable rainbow dolphin for throwing "poop" in a big toilet. Ha! The games these carnivals come up with are great!

Back at Brett's house, little Calvin was a huge fan of the ice cream! He somehow ended up with an ice cream beard. :)
