The x-rays showed there was at least one sock in Milo's tummy, and possibly one in his intestines. The one in his tummy could come out by endoscopy, but the one in the intestines would require major surgery to cut open his tummy and intestines to take out the sock. I left him at the vet and they were going to let me know what they found.
We really lucked out because both of the socks were still stuck in his stomach, so they were able to get them out with the endoscopy! No major surgery! He did spend the rest of the day really out of it from the anesthesia. He would just whine non-stop. Then, he would get up and just stand in the middle of the room so confused. :(
