Height: 24 in (approx 30th percentile)
Head: 41.2 cm (approx 75th percentile)
What she's up to these days: Well, obviously, she's eating well! The girl is really making headway at catching up with her younger (yet bigger) sister. And what's up with her head size??? :) Avery spends most of her time with her hands in her mouth. When she gets a hold of something, it also goes straight to her mouth. Her favorite things right now are the Exersaucer (she is hilarious in that thing - she keeps finding more toys - it's like sensory overload!), the swing (because we rigged up some toys hanging from it that she loves to grab) and the playmat. She hasn't made a complete roll yet - she keeps getting stuck on her side. But she rocks around and scoots herself completely off the mat trying. She loves looking at Morgan and trying to figure her out. She will grab Morgan's hands and feet and smile at her. Avery still hasn't decided what to think of bath time. She looks at me confused like "what is this stuff?" when I put her in the tub. For the first few minutes, she tries to keep as much of her body out of the water as possible. She gets herself in a V-like position and sticks her feet and head up in the air. She's nuts! Just recently, she has started full out giggling. It's so cute, because her whole body moves along with her giggles!

What she's up to these days: Morgan continues to be a very chill baby. She fusses when she's overly tired or hungry, but is usually full of smiles these days! We found out about a month ago that her noisy/raspy breathing was due to laryngomalacia (aka a floppy larynx). She had started having some problems choking while eating, so we had her checked out. Most babies grow out of it by a year old. Of course, a few weeks after we took her to the ENT, she started sounding better and having less problems eating. Go figure. Looking at those cheeks, she obviously doesn't have any issues getting enough food! Morgan is very strong and loves to grab our hands and stand up. She has rolled from her tummy to her back, but not the other way around yet. She loves the playmat and coos at the toys hanging above her. She's not so sure about the Exersaucer yet, though. Her coos are much quieter and in a deeper voice than Avery's loud screeches. She loves bath time and starts kicking her legs the second she gets in the water. She pretty much never sits still the whole time she's taking a bath. She also is giggling and when she does, her eyes flutter - so cute to watch!Every day I think how lucky we are to have these little girls! I love walking in their room in the morning when they wake up... they are all smiles and SO excited to see us! Their little legs start kicking and arms flail about and they start cooing at us. It probably has nothing to do with us, but more that they know they are about to be fed, but whatever - I love it! Ha!
