A day with Thomas (and Percy)

We trekked out to the Illinois Railway Museum for their annual Day With Thomas. The day started out a little rainy and cold, but really turned out great! My family all went and the girls had a ton of fun with their cousins and Grandma and Grandpa on the trains. We even got to see Sir Topham Hatt! Avery proclaimed this the "bestest day ever!" which is pretty much what she says every time she has a great day!

A little chilly and rainy at first

Checking out the trains

Grandma got all the kids some Thomas train whistles!

Morgan was so excited to see Thomas

Getting ready for our ride on Thomas

Daddy and Morgan ready for our ride

Almost everyone

Ready to go!

Avery loved the train ride

Morgan loved it, too

Got to meet Sir Topham Hatt - Avery wasn't so sure about meeting him - ha!

The firefighters were letting the kids practice with "fire hoses"

Avery was really good at it

The firefighters had a fun way to wash the kiddos' hands

Can't pass up these!

Temporary tattoos - Avery got the purple train

Morgan got Harold the helicopter

They had a huge pile of sand and Avery climbed right up to the top

Waiting for our ride on Percy

All the kiddos wanted to sit with Grandma and Grandpa

They gave out "Jr Engineer" certificates to all the kids on the train

Saying good-bye to Thomas
