Morgan's team had a shootout on Saturday and she subbed for the other team on Sunday. On Saturday, they won one and lost one. The first game they lost by 4 points and could have won that game. There were some really questionable things going on with the refs, which made it hard for the girls.
The second game, they won 28-17. Here she is dribbling in for a shot...
And then here she is on the ground... she's good at sacrificing herself for the foul!
On Sunday, her team was a combo of kids two years younger and one year younger than her. She was the oldest. Their team had some small kids! The first team they played against was kids a year younger than her. The second team they played were kids her age, so the little ones on her team looked even smaller! But, they did a good job holding their own! In the first game, they were tied and a girl from Morgan's team got confused and shot at the other team's basket and scored the tie breaking winning basket for them. Ugh. In the second game, the girls only lost by 7 points. The team they played had beat the first team 38 to 17 (so we had been expecting a total blowout!)
We ended the weekend with some tasty treats from DQ!
