Regional Champs!

Herrick was seeded #1 in the Regional bracket, so they had a bye for the first round. Their first game was on Monday night against Lemont Old Quarry. We had already beat this team in our regular season, so this was an easy win for the girls (Herrick def Old Quarry 40-6). Morgan had a great game and scored 11 points (3 jump shots, 2 layups and a free throw).

At the game, they announced the players and we were so excited that Coach Gillette got Morgan's name correct! :)

On Tuesday night, they played against Jefferson, another team they had already beat during the regular season. All the girls played great and they won 50-11. I took no pictures during the game, but did get a pic afterwards of the girls with their plaque.

They are on to Sectionals next week! Good luck girls!
