Andy, Matt and I started out at Matt's house with a few of his famous martinis.

Then we picked up four bottles of wine for the party. Yep, FOUR. Last time, Matt and I only brought one bottle for the two of us and went through it pretty fast. We were not going to do that again.
We checked in at the cooking class and started out with a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers. The class was packed (30+ people compared to about 18 last time). I think it's getting more popular because they mentioned they were going to start having more than one party a month. Matt is pushing for a football Sunday party where they bring tv's in and drink, make a bunch of appetizers and braise meat. Calvin (one of the chefs) is trying to get that one up and running.
On the menu for the night... French cuisine:
Appetizers: Goat cheese gratin with herbed olives on toasted baguette AND Onion soup sips with crouton
Salad: Mesculin greens with classic vinaigrette and parmesan tuiles
Entree: Pan-seared hangar steak with fleur-de-sel fingerling potatoes and provencal-roasted tomatoes
Dessert: Warm-centered truffle chocolate cakes and raspberry coulis
Lots of Wine
I was on desserts. I got to melt a HUGE amount of butter and chocolate together for the cake. Matt was on entrees. Andy and Erin were on the onion soup sips. John was on the goat cheese appetizer.

Come on, Matt... at least pretend like you are having fun!

Afterwards, we all sat down and the chefs served us the dinner. Everything turned out really tasty. We finished off our four bottles of wine with a little help from John.

Oh, I forgot to mention that one of the girls that works at Bespoke is the same girl that sings the Luna commercials... you know the one where she sings "773-202-LUNA". Yep, her name is Charissa. She even busted out the Luna song for Matt and Andy once!
What is Matt doing??? Hint: they labeled our wine bottles DPR when we checked them in (for our three last names)

Ahhhh... much better!

Dessert... the best part!

Good times. : )
