We were going to have a campout day and set up the tent in the basement, but the girls vetoed that. They like all the other stuff that goes along with camping, but didn't want to sleep in the tent. Or maybe it was the basement they didn't want to sleep in. Or maybe it was that Daddy snores and they didn't want to sleep anywhere near him.
We played over at the Wilkens' and Erin did some face painting, at least for Avery who wanted to be a vampire.
Later, Avery played sous chef to Daddy and helped make the mac-n-cheese for dinner.
